Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe Upright Carpet Cleaner Machine, FH50150V

I bought this cleaner a few months ago. We have pets in and out, a baby in the house, and lots of young people traffic. Wanted the convenience of cleaning in the moment when needed. Have cleaned the carpets about every six months in the past by renting a unit, but would inevitably have need for some areas in between. I read many reviews and recommendations on several sites. This was always near the top of the list for cost, ease of use, and performance. It has 100% exceeded my expectations! It is easy to use, clean, and store. I use hot tap water (unit does not self heat) and sometimes a little cleaner on high traffic areas or spots. It takes a little time to do a room (you pull slower ~ not like a vacuum) but it really does a nice job. Vacuum first as this is a cleaner and not meant for vacuuming all the junk. You’ll clog your drain with that mess when emptying the tank. Pulls water out of carpets well, so they dry pretty quickly. Convenient enough to use on accidental spills, dirty foot tracks, etc. We had record rainfall and flooding a couple months ago and about a third of our big room flooded. This baby came in clutch pulling up water until we could get a shop vac in here. Even then I used both. We had so much water that only one pass filled the tank but it helped me keep it from spreading further into the room. This thing had my back and I have nothing but high praise for it! Definitely a great investment! (I attached a photo, the small video wouldn’t load.) This room is blue but the rest of the house is a very light gray and this cleaner does a great job.
