I like this RAYOVAC 6 volt led light because it's as bright or brighter than anyone could need and not an outrageous price like most others. Being LED it gives you long battery life. The light comes with 7 LEDs. One LED is all the light I ever need. They used to sell the same light with only one LED. I use a knife and scratch of 6 LEDs and leave the one in the center. That gives me a lot longer battery life and still a super light. I use a bit of duct tape to stick the battery in place . Then if it's dropped the battery won't crash into the light connections and bend them causing a bad connection. I keep several of these. A few in the house, one in my vehicle and one in my shop. I'm always dropping them, but never had one fail to work when needed. For under $5 it lasts long enough that when the battery does run down I just replace the light which comes with a battery. The long battery life is also handy if your power goes off. Just stand it on end and light a room.
