I have to say there is a little bit of lint with the burgundy but it seems to be getting better, I have had trouble finding a burgundy or fushia towel that doesn't leave lint. This towel is certainly a good value for.your money . It is large and can easily wrap a plus size person nicely. The softness of the towel itself is alright not at all like a hotel towel. Certainly a good investment for your money, as the color is deep and rich long lasting. The care instructions are easy to follow and use dryer sheets to fluff it up. Do not use fabric softener .
