Well, I just finished trying out one of these towels from Utopia. I am very happy with the softness of it and it's absorbency. The weight and size of the towel is very nice too. So far, so good. When I first opened the package of the Utopia Premium Bath Towels, I noticed the color wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I ordered silver. To me, the color looked like a real light tannish color, but hey, I look at them more for their performance than there color. As long as they wash nice and do a good job, I'm okay with the color. So, once opened, I washed them. I looked at the tag to see washing instructions. It said to use cold water, no bleach, and low heat. I am glad I looked because online, under the product details, it said: "Easy Care - Machine wash the towels in warm water with a light detergent." Probably a typo about the warm water, but I definitely don't want the towels to shrink. The towels are listed as Ring Spun Cotton 100%. Years ago, I bought this type of cotton and remember reading that this type of cotton has it's fibers twisted more than regular cotton by using a spinning method. I believe it is supposed to make the towel stronger, softer, and to last longer. I am definitely for all those things. I did notice after I washed and dried the towels, they seemed to feel thicker and softer. I like the fluffiness. The only thing I do not like as far as the towels are concerned, are the tags used. Yep, I don't need to dwell on that, I can cut them off. It's just something I noticed. As far as thread pieces, I did not see that on this set of towels. These are very nice, and I would look at these for a future purchase.
