strong but shelves a bit lightweight.

Super easy to put together, tooka half hour, a hammer and a block of wood. *Get a wood block so you can hammer the shelves onto the supports without chipping and hurting the finish. I bought it to put all my landscaping equipment on over winter in my mudroom; protected from the Mn elements and little animals in the garden shed. I use those black plastic crates to put parts and tools into and it holds 3 across EXACTLY. Perfection there! But there is definitely some give in the shelves due to heavy bags of plant foode etc.. that is my only issue with it; the boards seem too thin. But the shelves are made for an exact thickness of board, so Ill probably split those bags and boxes into two crates instead and store them on the ends where they have mre support. Totally recommend and I will hopefully buy more.

Perfect shelving unit

At 71 years old I was worried about getting that heavy box to my garage. I opened on the stoop and carried the pieces one at a time. Once to where I needed the shelving system, I started erecting the shelves. The rubber mallet was essential to lock in place, which to me makes this a very sturdy steel structure. I was very happy with the versatility of the shelves. Everything ended up fitting just perfectly. And it got all that stuff off the floor! I will buy another soon.

Sturdy and Good Investment

The box delivered was very heavy! Once unpacked, the pieces went together without effort. I used a rubber mallet to secure but you wouldn't have to. My grandkids helped me and it was simple. The shelves are thick and heavy I found it to be a very good shelf. I did have an extra shelf and supports but did not have extra hinges to make it taller. That was my only negative. Great shelf, sturdy and attractive. Good investment. I'd buy another if needed.
