Rhe size is bigger than I expected but my Jay stays alone up to two days monitored by a feeding snack camera,so is great to know that he has water for those two days if needed and more,never know when an emergency may arise. So I love this water feeder I have it out side on my patio and I refill it from the hose unless I need to clean it. It holds really well its easy to clean. My dogs love it and it allows me to have water outside for them when they are playing in the yard. Or they go out for the bathroom. I also have one in the house and one in the florida room.

Great value for my money for my large dog, water refills perfect. The only issue I have with the bowl is that when it's time to refill it, it's incredibly difficult to get the fill bowl unattached from drinking bowl, no idea why. Very easy to put back together once full though and works great.
