Maxi-Cosi Sela All-in-One Convertible Car Seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the Maxi Cosi Sela car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, the only complaint is that I didn't have this car seat when my second son was born a month early! He was so tiny that even our infant car seat felt too big, but the newborn insert in this seat would have been perfect for him. I love that it's designed to comfortably fit children through so many different ages, stages, and sizes. My three-year-old currently uses a rotating car seat, so I didn't think another seat could compete, but this one has quickly become my favorite. Installation is incredibly easy, which is huge for us because I frequently remove the seat so my in-laws can take my son. It also came fully assembled and ready to install, without a million pieces to put together. Most importantly, it seems unbelievably comfortable. The night we unpacked it, my toddler climbed into it to watch TV and didn't want to get out! It honestly looks like a little recliner. The fabric and design also seem like they'll be very easy to keep clean. Comfortable, versatile, simple to install, and ready to use right out of the box, this car seat checks every box for our family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maxi Cosi Sela convertible car seat has really impressed me from the looks to all the features it has. When I was taking the car seat out of the box I could immediately feel the sturdiness of it which gave me some ease knowing that my daughter will be safe in it. As I took the seat out, my daughter directly came over to it and got food all over the fabric. I wasn't too happy about it but I got a wet cloth and was able to wipe it out with no issues and it looked like new again. This is so important to me with a toddler because she's constantly going to have snacks and drinks in the seat with her. As for set up, the seat was extremely easy to install. I adjusted it to my daughter's height with one button. You don't have to worry about detaching and reattaching the straps to your child's height as it adjusts when the back of the seat is pulled up or down. Since my daughter is 16 months old (and as per the manual for weight and height), we set it up rear-facing. All I did was lean the seat back to the correct position, extend the rigid LATCH on either side and it clicked right into the car. We saw the green indicators and done! IMy favorite thing about the seat is that it will grow with my child and I don't have to spend any money on future seats from her. All I wish was that I had this seat for her from birth. We've been on a couple of rides in this seat so far and my daughter has been calm which is very unusual for her in a car. That's a big win for me! It must be the plush fabric. The only downside of the seat is that the crotch buckle doesn't stay up so when you put your child in the car you have to go digging to find it. Although, the straps can be placed to the sides and they stay put and out of the way. Overall, I love this car seat and my daughter seems to as well! It's super comfortable for her and looks so nice and sleek in our car. I'm looking forward to using it many years to come and potentially for another baby.
