The instructions say to load the refrigerator slowly once it comes to the temperature you want. That way it won't overwhelm the compressor. Of course my husband loaded the whole thing at once and we were afraid that we would burn out the compressor. It worked continuously for many hours and the top was hot. BUT - finally the compressor stopped working overtime and it's been working great. So happy with this purchase.

When we received the product, it was VERY well packaged to prevent dents. When I completely loaded it with drinks (bottles and cans), it was down to 34 degrees after a couple hours. With a mixture of sizes, 1/2 cans and 1/2 bottles, I was able to store 65 items in this refrigerator. We haven't had it a week yet, but so far, I'm happy with the purchase.

Overall I like the fridge, just disappointed I can't really store food in there, which the main reason for buying it (I mistakenly read wrong about it being beverage only). However, I do store food in there temporarily; no more than a day or two. I just turn the temp down cooler for food purposes. One major dislike: I could not return the item under any circumstances. Once I realized I ordered a beverage fridge 2 days after the item arrived, I couldn't even return it. That was a total ripoff.
