Great for RVing!!!! Fits in RV oven.
This set is crazy versatile. I initially bought it thinking I was going to buy it for the adults in my sons' scout troop to use. On a whim I checked to see if this will fit in my RV oven and it does. Because of the short handles, this can be used as either a Dutch oven or as a cornbread pan (just skillet) in an rv (my traditional cast iron skillet's handle is too long). It just fits with the frying pan on top of the Dutch oven- can roast or make casseroles (my propane oven is even smaller than the one in my old rv, so it should work in the vast majority of RV ovens). This can be used as a pot or pan on top of the stove, and as a Dutch oven over charcoal (granted no feet- but still works). It comes pre seasoned (although my cast iron guru scoutmaster would probably still deem it in need of a little love). This was an extremely pleasant surprise, and I am tickled that it will fit in the rv oven. I often cook holiday dinners in the RV and am happy I no longer have to resort to tinfoil pans.

I've been extremely pleased with this cast iron Dutch oven skillet. The quality is outstanding, and it feels sturdy and built to last. It heats evenly, holds heat exceptionally well, and cooks everything from seared steaks to soups, stews, cornbread, and casseroles beautifully. The lid fits securely, helping retain moisture for tender meats and flavorful meals. While it's heavier than standard cookware, that's expected with quality cast iron and is well worth the performance. I love how it had a top lid/the lid als can be used as a pan to fry things or what not. I cannot wait to make this my family pass down dish.
