Mainstays MS33100049708WH Armless Height-Adjustable Task Chair, White Mesh

There are basically two kinds of desk chairs--desk chairs made for people who actually have to get work done, and desk chairs made for people who want to lean back and relax. The Mainstays Mesh Task Chair definitely falls into the former category. It's the kind that's designed for secretarial work. It's the kind I like to have in front of my computer for hours of coding time. The important quality that I like is that the back support keeps your posture in an upright, well-supported angle for active typing; that minimizes fatigue. Its height adjustability is of a hefty build quality. The rest of it is fairly light. The butt pad is sufficiently padded to feel like my weight's distributed nicely with no uncomfortable pressure points. Time will tell if that holds up. I'm not super-heavy...I'm 155 lbs, and I sit in mine for hours, almost daily. Sure...I'd like extras like a proper hip-tilt feature (The chair I normally use is a classic Herman Miller Aeron). But for less than forty bucks, I didn't pay for whiz-bang features...I paid for an inexpensive functional workhorse that'll keep me productive. That's what I got.

You can always depend on Mainstays to be a good product. This chair is light weight and easy to use. But for us the best part is that it is so compact and doesnt take up extra space in our small office
