The inner pot draws up water through the wall walls from a reservoir below. this keeps the soil damp without becoming overly wet. The color is gorgeous and looks great with my home decor. This is such a nice pot! Love that it's unglazed inside so the water slowly seeps into the soil at just the right rate.
