Great Dutch oven

This is a very beautiful heavy enameled pot. It is really large capacity and will last for a long time if taken care of properly. It has a beautiful flower petal shape that is on the lid and around the sides of the pot. Comes with two little lid lifters and a hot pad.

Very sturdy!

This cast iron Dutch oven is actually quite impressive. It is big enough for a family of 5 and weighs about 17.5lbs with my weighing scale so yes it is thick and really heavy. The cherry red color is gorgeous and looks great sitting on the stovetop. It feels sturdy and well made, I wouldn't worry about a thing if dropped this on a concrete floor. The textured handles make it much easier to get a good grip when moving it around. The 7.5QT size is also perfect for making bigger batches of soups, stews, chili, and roasts. It heats nicely and cleans up pretty easily, too. I love that it works on my induction cooktop and can go straight into the oven. Overall, it's a great looking, versatile Dutch oven that feels like it will hold up for a long time. Definitely a 5 star purchase!
