Ktaxon 5 Quart Pumpkin Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Upgraded Textured Handles, 500°F Oven Safe Pumpkin Pot w/ Potholder & Gloves, Halloween & Thanksgiving Gift

I am absolutely in LOVE with this dutch oven! It is definitely 11 pounds of sweet cast iron with a smooth enamel coating that is so easy to clean! Being it allows for 5 quarts of cooking, means I'm making dinner and having plenty of leftovers for the two of us! Fall is stew, soup, sourdough, and anything that fits in a pot season, and it being shaped and painted like a pumpkin just makes it all that much more festive. The stalk/stem on top is really sturdy, but it's a bit awkward to use to lift the lid as the lid is probably 6 of those 11 pounds. The nodules on the inside of the lid really do disperse the condensation all around the pot, so there are no dry areas on your meats or heavy puddle areas in your soups. I dont love the cloth trivet or handle holders as the design is more Halloween than autumn, but they actually do not provide a sturdy grip, and I can feel the pot slip when I use them. I use my silicone handle holders instead as they provide a much better grip. This would make an amazing gift for any fall lover!

As soon as I opened the box, I was smiling. It is adorable and looks good enough to leave out for Autumn thru Thanksgiving. This is a really nice enameled cast iron pot. I like the 2 side handle pot holders and the larger pot holder. I'll be using all year round. I make red beans, chili, gumbo, soups and on and on. Every cook should have good cast iron pot. This one is excellent. Shipping was fast too and well packed. About 14 pounds. Highly recommend.
