I bought this bike as a gift for my one year old nephew. it is the perfect size for a one year old! as the listen says, it is lightweight, which is a good thing because a small child will be strong enough to push it along. Putting the balance bike together took less than ten minutes. one thing to note is that in Step 1, there is a notch on the inside of the car body that lines up with the metal piece sticking out of the wheels and you will need to have those going in the same direction to get the wheelpiece through the body. After that the handlebars snap right on. i'm the only other circle I had was insurging the screw for the seat. the plastic hole on the seat had some thin plastic inside of it so I needed to take the screw through both sides to make the hole complete. after I hollowed out all of the holes, it was easy to get the screw to push through. Finally, step four is not applicable as the wheel covers are already on the wheels, and there is nothing to do. Overall, the directions are easy to follow.
