I purchased this balance bike as a gift for a toddler boy, and overall it seems like a solid choice for a first riding toy. The four-wheel design provides good balance, which is reassuring for kids who are just starting out. Since it's designed for beginners, there are no brakes, but the limited speed makes it feel safe for supervised use. A helmet is still recommended, especially for outdoor play.
