I think the bed is a gret deal for the amount. The bed came early which was a big help. It took about a hour to assemble with the help of a second person. Overall my son loves the bed. It is his first big boy bed. I love that the height is not too high for him since he is just 6 years old and needs to get adjusted. The loft style provided an area to store toys and create a personal space for him.
