GLEAMIST 100% Blackout Faux Linen Curtains for Bedroom Living Room, Set of 2, Thermal Insulated Back Tab Drapes, 52”Wx108”L, Cream

Blackout Linen Curtains sold by GLEAMIST These curtains are getting a rare 5-star rating from me. PQR: Very Good Top quality and worth every penny. WEIRD SMELLS: None QUALITY: Excellent! Very nice thick and weighty feel. Even though these are polyester, they look and feel like linen. Sewing is about as good as it gets. Expertly executed stitching and double-stitching where it's most needed. The two different methods for hanging the curtains are well done and the fabric is re-enforced with a strip to prevent wear-through on the back of the curtain. I like to use the loops method for the nice wavy folds it creates. Yes, they're wrinkled. Of course they are. However, the blackout backing is not so thick as to become permanently creased. If you're impatient you can try the low iron setting, but I found it to be not very effective in the past. Using a hair dryer helps, but I've found that the best method is just waiting a week or two for the wrinkles to fall out and then taming whatever wrinkles remain. I already have a set of these which was sold by a different seller. They are exactly the same in every way and I used the wait-and-see method followed by some hair dryer action. Yes, even more on wrinkles. If they're going to be in a south or west window, the sun will take care of the wrinkles for you. Okay, I'm done with the wrinkles screed. BLACKOUT: 100% Total eclipse of light. Why don't I have a photo of the blackout? The answer should be obvious. DO I RECOMMEND?: You Betcha! Now get on out there and getcha some, Goolisan!

These blackout curtains work well in my living room. However, the color and texture differ from the online pictures. The image shows a bright cream faux linen, but it's darker, more of a light vanilla shade. And it's not linen; it's a heavy polyester blend that feels almost like furniture fabric, but it will do. I had to replace my curtain rods with sturdier ones because these curtains are heavy like drapes. The thermal insulation works year-round and saves on the energy bills. Heat used to radiate right through my old curtains, but these block the summer warmth, and I'm sure they will block the winter cold. They keep the room temperature comfortable and completely dark.
