I Bought this knife in 2005 or so. It has been used for Boy Scouts, camping, fishing, and daily for work. It has taken much abuse over the years and has held up until today, when it was dropped and a rivet that holds it together broke off. I am happy to see that it is still on the market and plan on getting a new one today!

Wow!

This thing is ridiculous! I wish I'd given this knife a try before I went out and spent hundreds of dollars on "better" folding knives. I can't tell you how many times I passed this up when I saw it on the shelf. I picked it up and said "maybe Friday". I got home, looked it up online and it was $2.00 cheaper. I couldn't pass it up. As good as any other more expensive folder I have. I've seen a lot of people guess what the steel is, I'm thinking 7cr13mov, or something similar. It came shaving sharp out of the box, but, honestly, they never come sharp enough for me. I gave it a few passes on a ceramic stone and hi-ya! The thing was cutting me up. This honestly answers the question - why pay more than $8.00 for a folding knife when you don't have to?

Excellent knife for anyone who wants one.

I had this knife before it got confiscated by my mom, but it was a wonderful blade. it will get a chip in it by hitting something hard, ie another knife (found that out the hard way when I dropped it and it landed blade down on another knife I had). I would thoroughly recommend this blade to anybody.
