Love these shorts!!! First of all…the drawstring is real. That is very important to me with my little boys that have tiny waists. Second of all, there are also real pockets!!! We all know little boys love collecting rocks and flowers and need a place to put them. Third of all …the material is perfect. It is not too thick where they’ll be hot and it is not too thin where it will wear out easily, I am very happy!!!

These are a moderately thick true to size short with elastic drawstring waist. Shorts have two front pockets that boys will like. Girls can wear these too so consider that. Material is a French Terry which will be cool in hot temps. Legs openings are suited to size of shorts. Kids can waer these for summer fun.

I selected these shorts for my daughter to wear to camp. The dress code requires knee length which is hard to find in girls athletic shorts. I sized down but these are true to size for boys sizing. if ordering for a girl size down. They are a quality material and good stitching with a drawstring. I would order these again.
