Runs a little large. Very warm material

I ordered the xs for my six year old who typically will wear a size small or sometimes a 5t. I found that this runs a little large as it did seem to fit well. The style is nice but I don't think this will work in our climate. This would be good in northern areas where the spring can still be cold. The material of these is like sweatpants and is thick

Warm and soft shorts for boys

I bought these shorts for my almost 4 year old who weighs 36lbs and is wearing a size XS. These are a thick, fleece sweatpants material. I like that they have cargo pockets on the sides. They come a bit past fingertip length. These are great for basketball practice in the winter months for my son or to lounge around.

Cute and comfortable shorts

These Russell Athletic Fleece Shorts are cute and comfortable. They are soft and a good length, not too long and not too short. They have pockets on both sides. My 5 year old is wearing an extra small or a size 4 to 5 and the shorts fit true to size. They are on the warmer side since they are fleece.
