I got this cover for our well loved futon, which we currently use as our main sofa. I washed it per instructions and put it on as soon as it was dry. It fits quite nicely! Attractive upgrade for old futons

My futon is in a room addition that gets dusty and damp. The cotton futon cover material was dirty and dusty but not mildewed. This cover was what I needed. Note that the back section of this cover is like a pocket that must go completely around both sides of the vertical back section of a futon folded like a couch. That's the hard part - adjusting it to cover the bottom half is easy. With a little attention and tucking you can get all of the wrinkles out because of the strong wide elastic border on this. If you have the room and energy to unfold your futon flat before adding this cover the job will go easier. The velour material has a bright sheen to it, it catches the light and reflects almost iridescent like. This is my candid review of a free product I tried out first so you have some info on it.
