INSPIRE CHIC Women's Halter Neck 2026 Summer Smocked Striped Midi Dresses XL Dark Blue

I received this item for "free" (I still pay relevant taxes on the item value) in exchange for an honest review - I have no incentive to do otherwise and if something is not right with a product, I will tell you. This dress is very nice! For around $36 at time of review, I think the quality is worth the price. The photos in my review are after the first wash (it was a little wrinkled/stiff out of the package but didn't have any weird smells). I washed it in hot water and on the regular dry cycle, and there are no signs of wear. This is a size small, which could stretch to a smaller size medium if you like things much tighter. I am about 115 lbs and 5'2 with most of my weight in my hips and legs, for reference if you look at the pictures. The dress is very flattering with a defined waist, and it's a modest length. It also has pockets that my whole hands fit in! The dress is comfortable and soft for those with sensory issues, however if elastic bothers you or you're allergic to latex, this will feel very itchy on the top because the elastic is sewn in (I have a tank underneath it for this reason). See picture for the blue with black elastic. My skin is very sensitive to textures so I think for the majority of people this will feel very comfortable. The thickness of the dress is nice, it doesn't feel like a flimsy cheap dress that will fall apart in months, it feels like it will last for awhile. The halter straps are also pretty comfy (as comfy as a halter can be) and can be cut out for no straps or sewn to the back if you want straps. I could see this feeling a bit hot if you're outside in a very hot place for an extended time, but that's worth it for the better quality fabric in my opinion. It does feel breathable, too. Overall, in my opinion this is worth it! You never know when ordering online, but I think this dress delivers on what I was expecting in terms of the product photos and listing. Plus, it's nautical themed! Super cute!
