I've only used this set on a car trip so far, so I can't say how it will hang together as a checked bag on an airplane, but so far I absolutely love this set! My husband bought this set for me for my birthday. First, I love the color. The wheels are always a plus. There are hidden zipper compartments to pack items to keep them in place and organized. Overall, all of the pieces are roomy. The down side is, the luggage can easily scratch. I purchased clear luggage covers to protect the wear and tear a lot longer.
