Color is not really turquoise, as advertised, but much bluer than in the image... more like periwinkle. Also, the finish is less lustrous and smooth than depicted; the paint is matte and the surface is a bit rough. Some of the knots, grain, and even sap comes through under the finish in some areas (I think the wood used is cedar, because it is very fragrant), so don't expect the smooth, even color in the image. Other than that, the chairs look relatively good. They come completely disassembled, so you will need to assemble it piece by piece. Instructions are moderately challenging, so if you are not used to having to assemble furniture, you may fund it challenging. I've done a lot over the years, so I didn't really have any problems, but could see how some others might find it harder. The chairs do fold in half, which is very convenient for storing and transporting, so that is a nice feature. For the price, this is a pretty decent value. We will see how long they hold up to wear and tear, sun, and rain exposure. If you are looking for something inexpensive and rough and ready, these are cute. If you want something more sleek and sturdy, maybe pay a bit more for a higher quality. Just be aware that the color is way less green than pictured. The chairs are bright blue, not turquoise.
