It has been my lifelong experience that when I needed a cold pack, it is never for a single 20 minute session. Multiples were required, and on occasion, I have needed them intermittently for several days (recommended medical advice is 20 minutes on, and 20 minutes off). That's why I chose the 24-pack case.
