I set it up right out of the box. It is very heavy at 65 pounds and appears to be well made. It is easy to operate. It's exactly what I was looking for. I think it might have been knocked around a little during shipping because there is a loose side bar, but it's not bad enough to affect the function. I am short, so the bed is plenty long for me. The tray was easy to install, and I've used it with and without. Overall I would say it was a good value.
