im very pleased with this mat, i bought it because i was foing to keep a premie baby and i didnt want him on the hard floor so i bought this and then i put his play mat on top and it works great! i even use it to do my floor exercises on. i would highly recommend it. it does have a little odor to it but not bad and i figure it will disappear.

That .3 really doesn't add much to the thickness, but it's still soft and firm enough to prevent injuries, or to simply cushion the floor. Because it's firm foam it can be used against walls also. It looks like the pictures, and fluffed up after shipping quicker than the expected time frame given.
