I grabbed this play mat to use it inside a safe area I have placed together for my 17‑year‑old blind Chihuahua. I like that it offers the 1.2 thickness of the memory foam which makes it great if he stumbles and falls, it cushions his fall the same way it would for a small toddler. I like the fact it's waterproof and a simple wipe will remove those unwanted mistakes. Placing it on the floor for small children does give them some protection from falls rather than hard floors. It also has a slip‑resistant bottom which is also a plus because being blind my dog does rely on his footing to get him from point A to B safely and this helps his journey safer without moving. No smells trapped, easy to clean, it creates a small safety zone for a great value. Price is fair compared to what others are offering I have checked out.

This play mat is honestly so nice for baby's! It's super soft and comfortable, making it perfect for tummy time and playing on the floor. Super easy to wipe clean. The only downside for me is that it's not very easy to store or put away, so it works best if you plan to keep it on the floor all the time.
