One and only negative is the child proof feature… have to go through a multi step process to open door and does'nt seem like you can deactivate permanently …no children in house sooo?? Very Disappointed- over heated after one month

I purchased this microwave just one month ago, and it is already severely overheating, which is extremely disappointing and concerning from a safety standpoint. The exterior becomes very hot to the touch, and there is a noticeable burning/ overheating smell during use. This is not normal for a fairly new appliance and feels like a serious defect. The microwave was used under normal household conditions, properly ventilated, and not overloaded. For it to malfunction this quickly shows poor quality and reliability. I expected much better performance and longevity. At this point, I do not feel safe continuing to use it, and I will be seeking a replacement or full refund. I would not recommend this microwave based on my experience.
