Great but too too firm!

I bought this primarily because of the amount of storage space and that it can become a bed and it works exactly as expected, which is great. However, it is so firm. It's like extra extra firm to the point that it hurts the other thing is that the corner bottom cushion is half the height as all others which makes it very awkward, but I'm not sure if I just got a defective one. I've just opened a ticket with the vendor and hoping that they will send me a replacement. Color is also great.

We apologize that the seat feels overly firm and that the bottom corner cushion appears uneven in height. Our sofa is shipped in vacuum-compressed packaging, so the cushions normally need time to fully expand and soften after being unpacked and gently patted repeatedly. In addition, the section with built-in storage is designed to be sturdier for better weight capacity and structural support, which may make it feel firmer compared with other seating areas.
