GET THE FASHION FACTS:

What is a Peplum Hem? A Peplum Hem starts at the waist of women's shirts or dresses and flares out over the hips creating a skirted look for your torso.

Why are Peplum Hems so Flattering? The Peplum Hem is a favorite because it helps create an hourglass silhouette by flaring out right at the waist, this makes the waist look smaller in comparison to the shoulders and hips. A Peplum Hem also creates the illusion of curves and provides excellent coverage for your stomach and hips without looking baggy or oversized.

How Do You Style a Peplum Hem? To avoid looking bulky, create a balanced look with skinny jeans, leggings, pencil skirts and straight-leg trousers. Pairing a Peplum Hem with heels or pointed flats also helps to create a tall, lean silhouette.

Beautiful Spring Outfit!

I bought this outfit in the pale blue and liked it so much that I bought the yellow one, too. I like the yellow color even better than the light blue, if that is even possible. The color is amazing and it is kind of a soft yellow with just a hint of lime green in it. I feel so spring like, soft, and feminine in it. I am 5 foot four, 135 pounds, within an athletic build, and I took a size small in the skirt and an extra small in the matching top.

Pure Gorgeousness!

I was fine blown by the quality, the gorgeous blue color, the pleating and sewing quality of this product. I feel like it looks very high-end. I couldn’t believe that it came from Walmart! It is just pure gorgeousness! I took this picture after taking it right out of the package. It definitely needs to be washed, and steamed. There are wrinkles, but this material feels like it will be fine after a good steaming and hold up well.

Cute and stylish

I love this shirt. It seems a little short or cropped for me, but I could see it with some jeans. The bottom flares out a little much for me, but I still like it. I love that you can’t see my bra under my arms. Most armholes are so big, but these are great!
