GET THE FASHION FACTS:

What is a Peplum Hem? A Peplum Hem starts at the waist of women's shirts, dresses or jackets and flares out over the hips creating a skirted look for your torso.

Why are Peplum Hems so flattering? The Peplum Hem is a favorite because it helps create an hourglass silhouette by flaring out right at the waist, this makes the waist look smaller in comparison to the shoulders and hips. A Peplum Hem also creates the illusion of curves and provides excellent coverage for your stomach and hips without looking baggy or oversized.

How do you style a Peplum Hem? To avoid a bulky look, Walmart recommends creating a balanced look with skinny jeans, leggings, pencil skirts and straight-leg trousers. Pairing a Peplum Hem with heels or pointed flats also helps to create a tall, lean silhouette.

Darling versatile quality top

This is darling and can be worn all year with anything. It is a nice sort of light to medium weight 100% cotton denim. I am bigger and bustier and 61 yrs old and I love it. It was a nice fit for me. Loving the new Walmart fashion forward, good quality items!

Beautiful top

This top is absolutely gorgeous. Quality made and I love the peplum style. I got this in the white as it matches a lot of my bottoms. It runs a little on the larger side. But for those of us with larger busts, it fits well in the chest.

A great fit.

When I bought this, I was not sure I would like it, with the gathered style. Well, I hit a home run with this one! The material is so nice and the elastic gathering hits in just the right places.
