Sturdy, modern, and well designed

I bought two of the 48" planters for my front porch, to replace some shorter, faded, plastic ones. What an upgrade! These are STURDY and heavier than I expected. I was able to move them around myself when they were empty, but depending on where you're placing them it may be a two-person job. They're lined with styrofoam, but it's just loose so I used double-sided tape to keep in in place while I filled them with soil. For the length, I'd have preferred three drain holes at the bottom instead of two, but my plants don't seem bothered by it. I like that they're very roomy inside -- I planted some perennials in addition to annuals and have no doubt they'll do fine. Overall, very pleased!

This planter is wonderful, just what I was looking for. One piece of advise I would share: if you are putting this container in an area of direct sun, only purchase the white container. Unfortunately, I purchased the grey one thinking that it would be light enough in color to protect the plants from the high heat. Even with the styrofoam on the inside it gets way too hot.

Love these! Have four on porch, two to a two level table of the same length. Makes a great place for succulents and flowering plants, and to create a little bit of privacy. I did use a piece of black electrical tape to hide the company branding on one side of the box.
