For the price, the curtains look amazing. I got them to block off a closet area and to use as a photo back drop. They give my space a luxury vibe and are very functional. I did not hang them against a window, so I'm not sure how much light they block out. However, judging by the material thickness and quality, I believe they would work well as blackout curtains. The grommets are well set, and the silver color is very neutral. You couldn't buy the fabric to make these yourself for cheaper, so the price is a great value.
