so right out the gate im going to say this stand was easy to build but if you dont build furniture often the direction can be alittle hard to understand, that being said if you just look at the box it helps figure out which way the stand needs to sit and where the shelves need to be. i love the sturdiness of the stand and the lay out. i love the bottom pull out drawers, they work well on plush carpet so hard floor is a for sure thing as well. over all i will be buying one more of this stand for the playroom. its really ideal for kids 3 and up. my little one can get to every shelf and has no problems opening the drawers.
