Odd assembly, but great shelf

Be aware that this shelf looks much bigger in the picture: it is only waist-high. That said, it is a great shelf for kids. Ours love it! The rolling bottom shelves are fun (they even work on carpet), and it seems really sturdy so far. You need to mount it to the wall if you have babies or toddlers. It will absolutely topple onto them if they try to climb it. Assembly was a bit odd, notably a late step that wanted me to screw plastic brackets all over the back. I have no idea what they're for (manual doesn't say), and it isn't clear which direction they're supposed to go on. I skipped that step after 15 minutes of trying, and the shelf functions perfectly without them. It was doable with a screwdriver, but I'd recommend an electric tool. My kids love it for their bedroom, and it's a good looking shelf.
