This stepper is very sturdy made of hard plastic and is adjustable, i weigh 201 lbs and it is very comfortable going up and down on the stepper. It is not slippery and does not slide when in use.

Even though I have only had this stepper for a couple of weeks I am so pleased with my purchase. I used to own a stepper a few years ago and let it go. Having some health issues I knew I wanted one again. It is very helpful for me and so easy to use . The stepper is strong and wide enough for lots of exercises.
