It is not a girdle as such because it does not squeeze you but it does shape your body in an incredibly way. They have moderate compression so they hold in the belly a little and the high waist compresses and even out the love handles. It’s very soft and smooth, stays pretty in place. No rolling down at the waist or riding up on the thighs. The high waist does indeed stay in place which is an huge plus. The controls shorts smooth out the body and gives a slimmer look in clothes. Super comfortable and easy to wear all day. I love the back make your butt look very natural and sexy. They do indeed lift and improve the look of the butt. I simply love it.

The material is very soft and breathable and I love the silicone strips that are on the hem it helps with rolling. Definitely recommend. They're very stretchy and durable and I would suggest sizing down if you want the snatched look
