Affordable Shapewear

I'm 5'3" and weigh 128 pounds. The high waist shapewear is more for taller people than myself. I have to fold the top portion of the garment downward a few times in order to wear it. I got tired of wearing the compression garments from my surgeon's office and thought this would be a great alternative. I was partially correct. It is cheaper to purchase the Maidenform Women's Shapewear on-line compared to going to a regular Walmart store. I wear this shapewear for support for my workouts and when I know I will wear certain clothes out in public.

Shaping Shorts

I usually will wear the Maidenform Women's Shapewear Modern Sculpts High Waist Thigh Shaping Shorts when I know I will be going out in public or working out instead of wearing the compression garments I was given by my plastic surgeon. I started wearing these shorts when I was close to being eight weeks post-op from an extended abdominoplasty. These shorts are light weight, give the compression I need and does not give people the impression I am wearing shapewear. I have accidentally washed these shorts in the washer and placed them in the dryer. They did not shrink. I own four pairs of these shorts, because they are way cheaper than purchasing compression garments. I also like that I don't have to worry about clips and zippers...I can just pull these up.
