Marketside Tri-Color Cole Slaw, 16 oz Bag (Fresh)

One of my favorites is a creamy coleslaw recipe. This item is just right for it. It arrives clean and ready to be added in with the other ingredients. I suppose it could be eaten other ways, but the creamy recipe is my favorite. I've never been disappointed after buying this product.

Yes, everyone enjoys the convenience of pre-washed, pre-shredded salad fixings, but how many of you have had cabbage soup?? And if you haven't, why not?? This is so easy and I prefer using my slow cooker because that makes it even easier. Not that I'm lazy or anything, lol. So sometimes I use a piece of pork as the meat, others I use a bit of sausage either pork or turkey and I toss that into the crockpot after I lightly sauté it with a chopped onion and stalk of sliced celery. Discard the grease - but NOT down the drains - and add 2 large cans of diced tomatoes, the entire bag of cabbage mix and 2 capfuls of cider vinegar and some salt and pepper to taste and cook on high for a couple of hours. Gives you enough time to make Some Great Value Crescent rolls or Biscuits to go with this delicious soup! If you want it tangier add more vinegar to taste. You will want seconds and you know what. Go ahead as not only is is good for you, it is also pretty low in calories and high in fiber and nutrients.
