This is the backpack you're looking for!

I purchased this for a vacation overseas and it worked outstandingly well for planes, cars, buses, taxis, boats and walking tours. I especially love the multicolored strap which is what I actually used most of the time. It holds a ton of necessities. I've needed this bag my whole life!
