Great basic laptop!

Fast Intel Core 5 processor and 16GB Ram. Full hd screen, very crisp. Everything you need for internet browsing, streaming, and MS Office. 16GB allows for plenty of multiple programs open. Only a small amout of bloatware to delete, mostly from MS, not ASUS. Cant go wrong. A good machine, reputable brand, and excellent price/value. I don't do gaming, or heavy duty video/graphics editing. So I can't rate how well it handles those.

great budget laptop

I love that this has the numeric keypad, and the Asus military grade construction. I purchased on a sale for around $350 but I would still recommend this even at its full price. the only real cons are that it doesn't have a backlit keyboard, and it also can't be powered via USB-C. I still gave it five stars overall, but did dock it for a star for the keyboard in the individual item assessment.
