Simply amazing....and sharp!

Yeah, it's heavy for the size, but it IS an axe! That weight and the weight-forward design make it a lot easier to chop over a long period; gravity works FOR you! Love the look and the quality job on construction, this could move on down the generations far past me. Also would work simply hung on the wall for a decoration, but I have a hunch I will enjoy using it too much for that. Got to say, makes me feel almost like a Viking to be using a "bearded axe," but the design is actually excellent for the tasks it will actually meet as well. Including the sharpening stone is a very much appreciated plus, a dull axe is a dangerous axe.
