It is not that heavy until you.put water in so for elderly and small sized person be careful. Works well my issue is water hose management wishes they were longer and hand sealing caps to prevent water spilling out. My two small issues are spinning to damp drys and tangled clothes at the end don't overload.

I really like this machine. The only negative is this is not a 1.5 cubic foot capacity machine which it is advertised as. The washing tub measures 1.1 cubic feet. I get the same amount of laundry per load as my previous 1 cubic foot machine.
