A Great Powder Foundation

I switched to L'Oréal Paris Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Foundation-in-a-Powder after L'Oréal discontinued the Age Perfect Creamy Powder Foundation with Minerals, which had been a favorite of mine. I have dry, sensitive skin, so I make sure my skin is well moisturized before applying this foundation. I apply it with a fluffy powder brush, and I find that a little goes a long way. It provides nice, even coverage without feeling heavy or overly made up. What I especially appreciate is the staying power. Once applied, it lasts beautifully throughout the day and remains in place until I remove my makeup at night. While I was disappointed to see my previous favorite discontinued, I'm very pleased to have found a powder foundation that works so well for me. If you have dry skin, I would recommend making sure your skin is thoroughly moisturized first, but once you do, this foundation is definitely worth trying!

Longevity of product

I see a lot of comments about the powder breaking up soon after buying. Mine didn't do it quickly, but did when it was close to being out, and even then I purposely broke the last bits away from the sides and still used the "crumbs" to the last of it and it still worked great!!

Upset

Two days after I bought it, it came loose from its container and crumbled into powder; I hadn't dropped it or bumped it against anything. This had happened to me once before and I thought it was my fault, but what happened today confirmed that it is a product defect. I can no longer carry it in my purse.
