Received the battery about a week after the bike, as expected. The assembly instructions are very detailed, however, like anyone knows, there is always something that isn't perfectly clear. Assembly step 2.1 (Rear Derailleur), the "mounting hole" on the frame has a notch on the outer perimeter, and that notch lines up with a flat spot on the derailleur, and if you don't place the notch on the derailleur against that notch on the perimeter of the mounting hole, the derailleur will not line up with gear 7, so a picture showing those notches lining up is needed. Step 2.6 (Front Wheel), step 3, the "shaped washer" has to be on the axle with the shaped side facing down, or the front wheel will not go on correctly, and you won't be able to get the metal disk brake in between the brake pads. Step 2.9 (Fenders) the "rear fender parts" have an angle to them, so, of course, I put them on with the angle facing the wrong way, and had to take them off and flip them around. Overall, the assembly reminded me of Christmas morning 1976 watching my Dad and Grandpa complaining about the assembly instructions for my toys. I channeled my Dad and Grandpa, and they guided me through. Oh, one last thing, Step 2.3 (Rear Axle Carriage Attaching to the Frame) the slots in the frame are at an angle, so you'll need to make sure the back wheels are level to the ground after the axle carriage is bolted on, so you will have to slide the right and left side of the axle carriage up and down those slots until the back wheels are level (otherwise the bike leans to the left or right). About 20 miles of range on a flat surface, which, if you need more than that, maybe you're more than a recreational rider. Thank you for your attention to this matter. August 2025
