L'Oréal Paris Faux Brow, Waterproof Lightweight Hair-like Eyebrow Color Pen, Dark Brunette, 0.04 fl oz

I don't have too much brow hairs but they are dark so anything too stark looks odd on me. This is a good medium. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had a great time testing the L'Oréal Paris 'Faux Brow' Brow Tint Pen. The packaging is shiny, metallic and sleek which I found to be very attractive and made me want to try it right away. The unique design of the dual-tipped head draws twice as many hair strokes which is innovative and unlike anything else I've seen. I immediately wanted to give it a try to see what it looked like on my skin. When tested on my hand, I couldn't believe how natural the brush strokes looked. They really looked like hairs! When used on my brows the pen strokes blended in seemlessly with my hair. I did find I had to use a lighter hand to get realistic brush strokes though. If pressed too hard, too much liquid came out making it look more like little blobs. The colour was a perfect match for my brows. I used #390 'Dark Brunette'. I'm a bit skeptical about the claims that it is fully "smudge-resistant, transfer-resistant, heat-resistant and waterproof and lasts up to 2 days". When testing the pen on my hand, I spent about 20 - 30 mins taking photos. During that time, it had mostly all disappeared off my skin which was shocking. When tested on my brows, after a 12 hr day, a bit had worn off but majority was still there and looking good. I can't see it lasting 2 full days though. I think the concept and design of this pen is excellent and the results are incredibly realistic. The colour is also very realistic and matches well. I would definitely consider buying this brow pen in future and I would for sure recommend it to others. * I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes.
