Hey, these are pretty good...
So, my grandson was heating some of these up in the air-fryer. Normally I don't go for frozen bagged chicken (of any type), when they came out of the fryer I was walking by and instinctively grabbed one off the plate, bit into it, and said "Hey these are pretty good"... my grandson said "hey, get your own old dude" (hmmph teenagers, go figure)... about 10 min later (rest of the bag in the air fryer) we both agreed (with WM's Great Value chicken dip sauce) we'd keep these on hand. Good for a quick fix. Pretty tasty for frozen stuff. Like I said, I don't usually care for breaded frozen chicken (I find the breading grossly too much unless you deep fry the life out of in oil or lard, the way we did these 40 years ago when pre-breaded chicken was a novelty luxury item you got off the Schawn's truck) These are almost like a sweet tempura batter. I bet they'd be awesome if you fried them in oil or Crisco... but nobody does that anymore. All about air-fryers... yup, I'm old, but I saw all the cool rock bands.

I decided to give them a try since they are newer. I like the short cooking time, and the cost is decent. For 2 adults we got 2 meals out of the bag. The first meal I cooked in the air fryer. Not bad, not as crispy as I would like and it only took 7 minutes to cook. The coating is sweet, and the chicken is tender and overall, very tasty. Second time I cooked in oven for 12 minutes and I turned them after 6. They came out crispier but chicken dryer. Still tasted as good. Pairs well with chick-filet sauce I purchased at Walmart as well. I think these would make an excellent snack for after school or anytime. I would repurchase and recommend.
