I purchased this several months ago, but wanted to wait until I had used it regularly before leaving a review. I couldn't be more pleased. This is a very nice magnetic entry level rower. I've only used it on levels 1-3 because I'm just seeking some flexibility and fluidity in movement, not necessarily a heart pounding, sweat filled workout, for now anyway. This is a very quiet machine at the levels I've used it. The little monitor is great for keeping the time and number of strokes, but don't rely on that for calories or anything else. There is a free app that I initially looked at and did a couple of the workouts, but I prefer to just put my iPad on that little monitor, that doubles as a phone/tablet stand, and stream a program on my iPad. But for people looking for a smart type rower at a bargain price this would be a definite starting point. I don't ever think I would outgrow this rowing machine and I don't think most people would. If you're looking for those highly structured workouts that the $2000 rowing machines are going to give you look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a nice piece of fitness equipment that has some structured workout options I think this is an excellent purchase. And it tips up for virtually no space necessary storage. I recommend this for anyone up to a slightly higher than average level of fitness. For people who are already truly fit maybe a higher end rowing machine would be better, but I think for the vast majority of the population this would be ideal. Recommended.
