This is NOT a shovel at all. But this is an AMAZING ice breaker and scraper. This last storm resulted in a broken snow shovel and garden hoe trying to get through the ice. I ordered this When it came I thought 'there is no way', but it was amazing. After almost a week homebound and snowed in, I finally am out!

I just received this device but in putting it together it IS sturdy. I was concerned about connecting multiple parts (The handle) the handle is very strong as each section screws together. It is a sectioned-pipe but it is strong and not flimsy. I wish the blade was a little stronger but it is sturdy too. I just tried it in ice as depcited and it worked well. Thanks
